When managing a Dynamic Signal community for a large organization, you may want to divide the community into divisions, and then restrict management functionality within those divisions. Using divisions for this purpose enables you to:
- Ensure that feeds and broadcasts contain the appropriate content.
- Ensure that managers administer only their own divisions.
- Assure compliance with privacy and other regulations on a regional basis.
- Delegate limited functionality (broadcasting content, viewing reports, etc.) to specific managers.
Administrator Permissions enable Managers to distribute program management across a hierarchy of administrator roles. Permissions can be assigned to give administrators access to specific divisions and roles, such as content curator, reporter, communications, global manager, and division manager. Administrators can be allowed to curate content and review user submissions.
Using Admin permissions, you can assign managers to oversee specific Divisions or Permissions/roles. For details about Admin Permissions roles, see Manager Permissions.
