Create a Custom Target

To create a custom target, complete the following steps.

1. In the Dynamic Signal app, go to Admin > Advanced > Content Targeting.

    

   

1. Click on Custom Target 1.

3. In the Custom Target window, select the Enable Custom 1 Targeting check box.

4. Enter the Target Name in the Target 1 Name.

5. In the Target Values region, click Add Value and enter your target value for the first level of your hierarchy. You can add up to four hierarchal values.

6. In the User Options region, select the Ask members to confirm/select their preference check box if you want members to be able to select their own targeting preferences.

7. Select the Allow multiple selections check box if you want members to be able to select multiple preferences.

8. Select the Make selection required check box if you want members to be required to select targeting preferences.

9. To prompt members to select their preferred languages, you can enter a question or phrase in the Customize label to prompt users to select their preferred content languages text field.

10. Click Save Changes.
