Dynamic Signal Bulk Updates help you to efficiently create, update or suspend members through a mass update rather than performing these tasks one at a time. You can import your member data by copying and pasting from Excel, Outlook, or Gmail, or you can upload a CSV or TXT file. For more complex scenarios, you can upload a customized CSV file. Dynamic Signal bulk updates are processed by the following two methods:

Initial Bulk Update
Your Customer Success Manager (CSM) can help create the configuration for your CSV file that includes the divisions and target definition values of the members. Your customized CSV file lets you create or update employee data, and automatically pre-register any new member not already in the Community. With your customized CSV file, you can create or update the following member fields:
- First and Last Name
- Divisions
- Tags
- Unique Identifier (either email or employee ID)
- Target Values
- Attributes
- Member Privileges
Once your CSV file has been saved and uploaded, manual updates can be made to the members. Before your CSV file can be uploaded, a Manager must create a file configuration that maps to the Dynamic Signal member field.
