From time to time, customers within mainland China have experienced issues with reaching Firstup services including the Dynamic Signal platform.
Firstup and our sub-processors do not have any data centers, cloud infrastructure, or service endpoints within mainland China. However, Firstup and our sub-processors also do not have any unique restrictions on the use of our services in China compared to other providers.
While Firstup does not prohibit access to its products or services from mainland China, it is impossible to guarantee service quality or reliability there as Chinese ISPs dynamically change what they block and permit access to. As one example, customers are generally able to access our Manager App or mobile app, but cannot access the Firstup Knowledge Bases or play videos in the Firstup Training Center.
Occasionally, there have also been some issues relating to local firewalls blocking network traffic in and out of China. In general, it means that Firstup will most likely work in China, but we cannot guarantee the quality or uptime of our services from locations within China. In addition, we have no visibility into network blocking in China to provide insights to customers who encounter these issues.
