When creating Broadcast, managers can set a one of four priority levels: Urgent, High, Normal (default), or Low. Urgent Broadcasts will create a pop up modal as soon as the recipient(s) sign into the Community.
Urgent Broadcasts will also have a red notification at the top of the showcase for recipients to see.
As with all notification types, urgent Broadcasts will appear in a member’s Notification Center. Unlike other Broadcast notifications, though, urgent Broadcast notifications won’t have the options for Mark as Read or Hide this Notification.
Like urgent Broadcasts, high priority broadcasts are displayed as notifications at the top of a member’s showcase.
This is how high priority Broadcasts appear in a member’s Notification Center (you’ll notice an orange up-arrow in the top-right):
Normal Broadcasts don’t appear in the Showcase like high priority or urgent Broadcasts. This is how they appear in a member’s Notification Center:

Email Notifications for Different Priority Levels
If you send a Broadcast through email, the email notification members receive will look different based on the Broadcast’s priority level.
