Overview
Dynamic Signal now supports Document Repositories. Combined with Quick Links, this is a great tool for content that is relatively static and highly searchable. Your members can get immediate access to onboarding material, holiday schedules, training material and more.
Prerequisite
To create a document repository, make sure Custom Pages is enabled in your Community.
Getting Started
Creating a Custom Page with a Document Module
Start by Creating a Custom Page. When adding a module, you’ll now see a new option called Document that you can add.
Adding a Document module will add the following section to your custom page:
You can upload documents by pressing the Upload a Document link. Keep in mind the following restrictions for the module:
- The file formats supported are: pdf, txt, doc, ppt, xls, docx, pptx, xlsx, ics, png, gif, jpg, mp3, and aac.
- Only 20 documents per module can be uploaded
- The max document size is 30MB
Once you’ve uploaded your documents. You should see them listed like so:
You can change the order of the documents by dragging and dropping the menu icon next to the file names.
Increasing visibility with Custom Links
Custom Pages can be shown through a variety of ways! They can live in the header or footer on web, and in a quick links or the side bar on mobile. For more details see our Custom Links and Quick Links pages.

Once you’ve saved your Custom Page and exposed it via a Custom Link, your document repository is ready! Your members will see the following:
