The Dynamic Signal platform supports a wide variety of document file types that you can use as attachments to a post you create or in a Document Repository you add when creating a Custom Page. For more information on using documents, see the following sections.

Uploading Documents
When uploading a document file to a post you are creating or when adding documents to a Document Repository, you will see the following options:
- Upload Documents
- Paste URL
Upload Documents
When you click Upload Documents, a window will open to your computer so you can upload the document files you want to add to your post.
Paste URL
When you click Paste URL, a link field will open to allow you to create a Live Document by importing the URL. Live Documents enable you to treat files with online locations as regular documents in the Dynamic Signal platform. Live Documents give members the following advantages:
- can always access the most recent version of a document without needing to re-upload
- can preserve their log in (if the file is gated)
- can support universal linking (if the corresponding app is installed)
