Column customization allows managers to customize, sort and save the columns associated to a Custom Member Group in any order they want. For example, if you decide you have no interest in the Attributes column, you can choose to hide it from your custom member list. And if you want the Location column to appear before the Division column, you can quickly switch the order of appearance.
When you click Customize Columns in the Customization Bar, the Customize Columns window opens which has the following two regions:
- Select Columns
- Reorder Columns
The Select Columns region has several checkboxes organized in groups that reflect the same values in the Select Filters window after you click More filter options. You can select the filter values you want to appear in your Custom Group member list and simply deselect the filters you want to hide. The User checkbox and column is defaulted and cannot be rearranged.
The Reorder Columns region lets you arrange your columns and filter values in any order you want. You can switch the order of the columns by clicking the up and down arrows accordingly. When you have completed the customization of your member group list, you can save it to your existing group or as a new group. The next time you access this group, all of the filters, columns and sorting will appear exactly as you have customized it.
