Members are awarded points for Shares, Clicks, or Reactions according to the values assigned to those Posts. When a Member Shares a Post, the point reward for sharing is displayed right next to the Share button.
Points can also be awarded for Submitting a Post, and having a submitted Post approved by a Manager. (Points may also be discretionarily awarded by a Manager for other activities.)
The default Leaderboard displays members' all time point totals. A member will also see this total in the header of the News Feed.
If a Manager prefers to have the leaderboard reset on a regular basis (daily, weekly, monthly, or even quarterly), they can customize the leaderboard by visiting Members > Leaderboard > Member Leaderboard.
A Leaderboard may also display a point total differently than you might expect if the post shared doesn't qualify based on the Leaderboard settings. For example, a Post that is not in the Division set on the Leaderboard will not be counted.
