Instagram Sharing Improvements
Platform
LinkedIn Auth Update
LinkedIn has updated their API permissions and this release will include a change to incorporate these in the platform. To ensure all LinkedIn social account channels and Feeds have the correct permissions, these will need re-authentication after the release is completed.
After the release, the following will occur:
- When members begin to share a post, they will see a red exclamation mark next to their LinkedIn account in the share dialogue.
- Clicking the exclamation mark will prompt them for their LinkedIn account credentials, allowing them to re-authenticate.
- In the Feeds area (Content > Feeds > LinkedIn Pages) of the Manager app, an error message will be shown that states "This feed has expired. Please click Reconnect Feed to resume importing."
A 'Content Feed Expired' email will also be sent to notify Managers that the Pages need to be reconnected.
