All new category discovery capabilities are geared toward increasing member engagement and improving mobile adoption by making it simple for users to locate, select, and consume the content that is most meaningful to them, including critical organization-wide updates. In this release, you will experience the following:
- Visual content categories and descriptions
- Streamlined access to subscribed categories
- Customized, interest-based news feeds
- Visual cues for new content
Visual Content Categories and Descriptions
With this update, we’ve made it incredibly easy for employees to easily discover and subscribe to content categories that interest them most. You’ll notice that categories to which users are currently subscribed appear at the top of your device's screen and now feature a customizable image element. Additionally, scrolling the page reveals additional categories, images, and category descriptions to enable users to easily identify and subscribe to new categories of interest.
Streamlined Access to Subscribed Categories
Your mobile feed now features a horizontal scroll of subscribed categories at the top of the screen, underneath Browse Categories. So, your users never need to scroll through a lengthy static list to find what they need.
Customized, Interest-based News Feeds
Your users' news feeds are now personalized and packed with the news that they are most interested in and that your organization deems critical for employee information purposes.
Visual Cues for New Content
This update, which will reflect across mobile and web, makes it easy for users to ensure they never miss out on new news and the freshest content. Visual cues–specifically, red dots–appear to let users know when a category features new information so they never miss an update.
